Jerry Chavez came to Valley Vision, Inc. as the newest President/CEO with a 27-year career in economic development. Valley Vision, Inc. provides economic development services for the Lewis-Clark Valley, which encompasses the city of Clarkston and county of Asotin in Washington, and the city of Lewiston and county of Nez Perce in Idaho. This region is located along the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.
Jerry began his career in economic development as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in 1994 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He has served as CEO-President in Minot, North Dakota, and Marshall County in northcentral Indiana for a combined tenure of over 17 years in that capacity. He has also served the communities of Flagstaff, Arizona, Great Falls, Montana, and a nineteen-county region in Mississippi. His specialties in economic development are:
Over his 27 years, he has led efforts in small markets with populations under 60,000 to capture over $2 Billion dollars of business capital investment.
